Ballet & Jazz Technique
This class for beginners teaches the basics of both jazz and ballet style disciplines. Each week, class begins with a fun dance warm-up followed by an intense stretch to improve flexibility. A focus on basic ballet barre exercises strengthen core muscles used in dance and provide a strong foundation for technique. The class ends with jazz combinations across the floor which bring technical skills together into one fluid movement.
